Our Captcha application was awarded the Web Accessibility Certificate Austria (WACA) silver level by TÜV Austria.

This means that our solution meets the accessibility requirements of WCAG 2.2 – AA to a very high degree and is therefore accessible to everyone. We are thus sending out a clear signal for digital inclusion and strengthening our commitment to enabling everyone to use digital services on an equal footing.
The certification refers to our application, installed on the test page: captcha.eu/test-2-2 and not to the captcha.eu website. Forms or submit buttons on the test and customer pages were not included in the test, as these are not part of the captcha.eu application, but are created by the respective customer.
“As an Austrian provider of a GDPR-compliant and accessible captcha solution, we see it as our responsibility to make the internet accessible to everyone. Accessibility is not an add-on, but an essential part of our philosophy. Our goal is to offer all users, regardless of individual limitations, secure and simple interaction with our customers”
Manuel Rostorfer and Helmut Januschka, Managing Directors of Captcha.eu
Digital accessibility: a benefit for everyone
An accessible internet means designing digital content and applications in such a way that they can be used by all people – regardless of their individual abilities or limitations. Around 1.7 million people in Austria live with temporary or permanent disabilities (source: Statistics Austria). But digital accessibility goes far beyond social responsibility: it improves user-friendliness for everyone and ensures that everyone can interact with online services intuitively and without barriers. Our captcha solution helps to make digital spaces more inclusive while optimizing the user experience on our customers’ websites.
