How to add captcha to your Craft CMS site

Install the plugin either via the plugin store or via composer:

composer require captcha-eu/craftcms
./craft plugin/install captcha-eu

Next, you need to create a captcha.eu account. Log in and go to “domains” in the Dashboard to add a new domain. This will generate a Rest Key and Public Key, which you will need for the Step 3 of the installation process.

In Craft CMS, go to /admin/settings/plugins/captcha-eu to configure the captcha.eu plugin. Copy and paste the Rest Key and Public Key from your captcha.eu account into the corresponding field. Important: In staging environments, we strictly recommend using environment variables to configure each value.

In the HMTL site template, make sure to include the following in your <form> tag:

{{ craft.captchaEU.intercept() }}
